Singapore Idol Top 8
singapore idol has reached the spectaculars... have been looking forward to these shows coz they feature many songs which are quite nice to listen to... but somehow it made me feel so agitated when the results were released...
the first spectacular was parents' choice, where the contestants' parents choose a song for their children to sing... i find it quite interesting, but i cant believe the song jerry ong was singing... leader of the band!!! io think it's more of leader of the gang... on personal opinion, jerry does not have the talent to sing... somehow surprising was the results... jeassea was voted off just because she is a non-singaporean, which i think is really unfair to her... she made singapore her home, and in return she gets not much support in the competition... i have been watching her closely and i think that she is one good singer, although some of the other contestants are better than her... another surprise to me was the elimination of beverly... although people say she looks like a bad woman, but she can really sing well... people shouldn't judge a person by one's looks...
the second spectacular was rock and roll... sly is really in a great advantage as he is a rocker... and it didn't disappoint me too, although i dont really support him... maia was great, i voted her the previous time, and i voted her again this time... i think that she really has a lot of attitude in her, although the judges kept saying that she didn't show off enough of her attitude... david's performance wasn't really impressive, being the first on th list... christopher is constantly weak and i seriously do not know how on earth is he going to survive in the competition excluding the factor of his beloved smile... jerry ong is better than nothing, singing with his constipated look, according to the judges... the results were quite expected as david did not show his best performance... however i'm still not happy that jerry is still in the competition... i really want him to be voted out as soon as possible so that the good singers will not be voted without any reason, just like jeassea...
one surprise was the drop out of candice... i seriously wonder why on earth will she every want to drop out of the competition when i know tha she will make jerry ong go! she has a sweet voice, although relatively weak compared to the other contestants... but at least she's better than that idiot jerry ong... just hope that singaproe can really vote for talent... not for friends...
my favourite is still maia, coz i think she rox... others like olinda, taufik and leandra stand a good chance in surviving in the competition... daphne also shows great talent... i do really hope that the competition will be fair, although nothing is fair...
don't ever kelong for your friends, or else people will suan you...
